Kabale Regional Referral Hospital has received a grant from EGPAF under the USAID RHITES-SW project to support implementation on of Integrated Health Services, including quality maternal and child health, HIV/AIDS, nutrition, malaria and child development services at the hospital. It is for this reason that Kabale Referral Hospital seeks to recruit qualified candidates for the following positions located at Kabale Regional Referral Hospital to help achieve the mandate of the grant. Employment shall be on contract for a period of one year renewable depending on performance and availability of resources. Successful candidates will be based at Kabale Regional Referral Hospital

Qualifications:
• Minimum of a Diploma in either computer science, IT and statistics
• Extensive experience performing compilation and entry of health related data into Open MRS and DHIS2 databases.
Data analysis skills Duties and responsibilities:
• Supporting the Data Officer Preparing and sorting patients fi les and registers and identifying data to be entered in the electronic medical system
• Transcribing of patients data from the patient’s fi le to Ministry Care and treatment of Registers.
• Confirming accuracy of Data, Numbers, Date’s time, location on both source documents and in the electronic database
• Ensuring that Confidentiality of Data collected and stored is/are maintained
• Ensuring that HMIS reports are compiled and entered in the DHIS2 on time and that entered data are backed up regularly and well protected
• Ensuring Safety of all equipment in the data room
• Assisting the data officer to compile and submit project reports to partners and DHSI2
• Providing technical support to all Hospital units to ensure quality HMIS data is collected
• Responding to all other HMIS data requests from partners and hospital management as and when necessary.
• Performing all other duties and requests from implementing partners and hospital management as and when necessary from time to time.
