Director, Donor Advising Team

The Position    
As Director on the Donor Advising Team, your main goal is to foster an already exceptionally high-quality team, and its relationships and service to Geneva Global’s clients.  
You’ll be capable of managing multiple competing priorities and projects, from short-term research to long-term strategy creation, to help clients express what they can do with their philanthropy or with philanthropic partners. You’ll also need to be prepared to work collaboratively with clients and the broader team at Geneva Global to create high-quality experiences and provide top-quality deliverables.    
In concert with the Senior Director, you are leading the team to provide strategic direction, guidance, support, and project-based feedback daily. You oversee direct reports.
You’re a team leader, ready to dive in and do what needs to be done to delight clients. You are resourceful and meticulous and you’re able to deliver with clarity and confidence on the projects you’ve been assigned. You are experienced in identifying clients’ explicit and implicit needs and strategizing on how to meet them—in terms of staffing, approach and experience.

What We’re Looking For    
You have a background in consulting, working with high net-worth families and foundations to help them craft their giving direction. You may have worked at an NGO or philanthropic organization. You understand relationships are important and want to grow them.   

We’re seeking a candidate who demonstrates:  
• Impeccable project management skills to lead multiple client-based workstreams and respond to ad hoc requests
• Critical thinking and analytical skills to execute on project deliverables for clients
• Strong communication skills, through writing/editing and/or facilitation
• A positive, team-centric attitude and willingness to both lead and support the team to complete long-term projects and meet short-term client needs in a fast-paced environment
• An understanding and track record of effective leadership and people management skills
• An ability to bring in new clients and/or expand and extend profitable business relationships with existing clients

Qualifications    
• 10-15 years of relevant professional working experience, including experience engaging directly with clients, donors/funders, corporations, and/or other stakeholders    
• A history of working with families or foundations on their philanthropy goals 
• Proficiency with technology: Microsoft Excel or PowerPoint for the use of crunching numbers and presenting quantitative information in intuitive, attractive formats and crafting presentations

• The salary range is $109,300 – $147,900 depending on the experience you bring. On top of the competitive salary that we are offering, you’ll receive 12 paid holidays (4 flex) and 25 paid days off.
