lntraHealth seeks a Director, Financial Management and Operations (DFMO) for the USAlD's Regional Health integration to Enhance Services in Eastern Uganda (RHlTES—E). The purpose of the RHITES-E project is to increase utilization of health services through the following key result areas: increased availability of and accessibility to health services; improved quality of health services; increased availability of resources tor public sector health services; improved organization and management of service delivery and increased adoption of healthy behaviors and practices. The DEMO is a key member of lntraHealth‘s project leadership team, reporting to the Chief of Party and collaborating closely with lntraHealth US-based financial and contracts leaders from the lntraHealth Chapel Hill office. S/he is responsible for providing fiscal leadership in the implementation of the RHITES-E project, ensuring the project can effectively and responsibly use USAID resources to meet project goals.
The DFMO is responsible for the financial systems of the project, including project budgeting, financial monitoring, Procurement, Contracts, Sub grants, Construction/ Engineering, HR, Administrative functions and the project’s financial reporting systems. that meet USG and lntraHealth requirements. S/he will be the principal financial representative of the project to ensure compliance with local laws and management of audits to assure compliance with organizational and donor policies.
