JOB DETAILS:
KUSH AIR (U) LTD doing business as DLAND AVIATION LTD is a Ugandan registered Airline operating international and domestic routes with its Head Office on plot 16 Queens Road Bugonga, Entebbe Municipality. The airline operates aircraft such as LET 410 (registered on the AOC) and Fokker 50
The airline would like to recruit a Director of Maintenance (DOM)

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Establishment and development of continuing airworthiness policy, including the approval of DLAND AVIATION LTD aircraft maintenance programmes required by regulation 66 of the civil aviation (AOC and Administration) regulation 2022.
• The relationship with the AMO contractor and establishment of a Maintenance Contract required by regulation.
• Ensuring that the Quality Systems required by regulation18 of the Civil aviation (AOC and Administration) regulation 2022 is effective in its application and any follow-up actions required to address findings;
• Approval, by the UCAA of DLAND AVIATION LTD Technical-log book, required by regulation 38 of Civil Aviation (AOC and Administration) regulation 2022 including any subsequent amendment thereto;
• Ensuring that DLAND AVIATION LTD technical records are kept as required by regulation 23 of the Civil Aviation (AOC and Administration) regulation 2022.
• Work planning and follow-up;
• Technical follow-ups
• Modifications and repairs (Changes) are carried to an approved standard.

DOM REQUIREMENTS
• A Director of Maintenance shall possess the following minimum qualifications: -
• Have a license in maintenance engineer with appropriate airframe, power plant or avionics ratings;
• Have three years' experience in maintaining the same category and class of aircraft used by the AOC holder.
• Shall have served for one year in the capacity of returning aircrafts to service.
