JOB DETAILS:
Job summary:
• The Drilling engineer-B will be rresponsible for other drilling auxiliary work except drilling draw works and top drive operation; assist the driller(chief drilling engineer) to carry out the work, Responsible for training derrick engineer.

Key Roles and responsibilities
• Be responsible for correct operation and maintenance to the mud pump 、charging pump、all high &lower pressure mud valves on rig floor.
• During drilling operation, should pay attention to the pump pressure’s variety and assistant mud man to observe the mud pit level, if abnormal signs appear, report to the driller and mud man immediately. Find out causations and take suitable steps to handle.
• Take charge of maintenance and repair of all the manifolds on the ground and rig floor, mud pump, tools, hi-pressure &low-pressure pipes, valve unions.
• Be responsible for taking charge of mud pump 、remote control console of BOP、hydraulic control pipes、BOP stacks ‘s running 、check、maintenance 、change spare parts and fill in datum on the abnormal things.
• Assist mud man to mix drilling mud.
• As the master of Derrick Engineer (select those with outstanding performance in Floor man to be promoted to Derrick Engineer), personally teach relevant operations and techniques one-on-one, and lead Derrick Engineer to complete drilling and completion operations. The first year teaches the relevant operations and techniques required for drilling operations. The second year teaches relevant operations and techniques that need to be mastered in well completion operations. After 2 years, ensure that the Derrick Engineer (Ugandan) can independently complete the relevant operations and be fully qualified for the post of Derrick Engineer.

Mandatory Requirements
Education:
• College degree or above
• Strong professional knowledge
• valid IWCF or IADC certificate.

Experience:
• At least 3 years working experience in drilling
• Dealt with the failure of mud pump more than 3 times.
• Participated in the complex downhole situation at least 1 time.

Knowledge:
• Integrity, good conduct, honesty and self-discipline.

Capability
• Familiar with relevant operation rules and procedures of drilling equipment, and have good skill level of drilling;
• Familiar with the operation of mud pump, Shale Shaker and other equipment.
• Familiar with the Drilling fluid and mud circulation system
• Have computer application and English communication skills to meet the needs of the work.

MISCELLANEOUS
• Under 45 years old.
• Hold the relevant qualification certificates required by the company
