JOB DETAILS:
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an International Independent medical humanitarian Organization that delivers aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters and exclusion from health care. MSF offers assistance to people based on need irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation.

MSF is looking to recruit a suitable candidate for the position below;

Job : Driver
Opening Date: 16th October 2023
Duty station : Kasese
Contract Type: Open Term with 3 months' probation period
Start of work: 1" November 2023

Main responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Daily check the technical conditions of the assigned vehicle and keeping it clean.
• Performing weekly check of vehicles according to the MSF Logbook, to be performed together with the supervision of Log Supervisor
• Assist with the Service A of vehicles as requested, to be performed together with the Log Supervisor
• Ensure the security of the passengers in the vehicle and drive carefully, observing speed limits and traffic rules in the country as well as MSF security rules
• Ensure correct loading and offloading of the vehicle
• Ensure that all vehicle documents and the driver's driving license are valid and always in the vehicle
• Inform the line manager of any incident involving the transportation of passengers or goods
• Know and respect the security rules related to vehicle movements, specifically related to customs, check points and roadblocks.
• Ensure all passengers know and respect the security rules. Know and respect security rules related to movements

Education: Essential literacy and driving license (DL/D1 Class)
Experience: 2 years’ minimum previous experience
• Experience with specific vehicles (4X4)
• Experience in MSF or other NGO's
Language: Fluency (written and spoken) in English

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: Professional Certificate
