JOB DETAILS:
JOB PURPOSE
Through your leadership you will make an important contribution to Imprint Hope’s work to serve children with disabilities and their families. In your important role, you will assist Imprint Hope with all transport-related duties. The driver’s responsibilities include dropping and picking up staff and families under our program, collecting various packages, and maintaining a travel log of gas mileage, travel-time and locations travelled to. You should also be responsible to perform routine checks on Imprint Hope’s vehicles. You will work closely with Imprint Hope’s facility and logistics manager and procurement officer to ensure operations are running smoothly.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities
• Transport designated people (i.e. mothers, children, fathers, staff, visitors, etc) in a safe and timely manner to designated locations.
• Perform weekly food pickup for Imprint Hope’s Center.
• Report motor car damages incurred from an accident to the Management Team.
• Notify the Management Team when vehicle repairs are needed and call a mechanic if needed. Ensure vehicle servicing, repairs and insurance maintenance up to date
• Honestly fill-up the fuel tank of the vehicle with a designated fuel card and present a receipt to the finance officer.
• Adhere to Imprint Hope’s Driver Policy at all times.
• Vehicle cleaning, always ensure that all vehicles are cleaned and presentable
Qualifications & Experience
• Mandatory Requirements
• Valid Ugandan Driver’s License.
• Diploma in related field of communication, administration etc.
• Fluent English and Luganda speaker.
• Experience with operations of an NGO is a plus
• Experience working with or knowledge about persons with disabilities is a plus

• Ability to manage stress, prioritize, and handle multiple responsibilities Simultaneously
