JOB DETAILS:
We are looking for competent, skilled, and experienced talent to work on the EACOP (East African Crude Oil Pipeline) construction project in Uganda. Suitable candidates are encouraged to apply.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Participate and provide input to the development of targeted HSE Improvement Plans and associated support documents.
• Ensure H&S alignment with approved Plans.
• Build and maintain solid relationships and engage with management representatives,
Company and Partners
• Participate in project start up work – (project mobilization).
• Ensure thorough contractor HSE assessments and conduct evaluations and pre-qualifications as required.
• Facilitate and participate in H&S Risk Assessments and ensure all sites and offices are covered by robust and comprehensive HSE Management Plans where applicable.
Qualifications and Experience
• Technical Qualification in HSE management / NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum requirement. UK RQF Level 6 Qualification ISO 45001:2018 Certification
• 10 years major project experience with Greenfield and Brownfield environment.
• 5 years working in developing countries – specifically in the HSE space.
• Setting up and deploying QHSSE systems in major projects’ start up and execution.
• Experience of process and system auditing, preferably in the Oil and Gas or other heavy-duty industry.
• Expert knowledge of Management Systems, including the ISO 45001 and its application to
Corporate Certification.
• Desirable WORLEY exposure
• The ability to implement and maintain an HSE program in a Brownfield environment
• The ability to develop a thorough understanding of the Project and its H&S requirements.
• Execute assurance activities
• Identify H&S Gaps and ensure the closure thereof
• Facilitate Incident investigations and assurance with regards actions identified.
• Manage and maintain field HSE teams
• Support to Construction teams and activities
• The ability to facilitate Incident investigations through root cause analyses methodologies.
• MS Office competency
