China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Co., Ltd. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supervise, participate and provide technical support to electrical installations work including but not limited to conduiting and electrical appliance installations with strict adherence to proper safety practices
• Design small power layouts for building installations
• Review electrical drawings and provide technical guidance to other members of the construction team
• Supervise use of electrical equipment with strict adherence to proper safety practices and equipment handling guidelines.
• Prepare electrical equipment; electricity and power system maintenance work programs as well as budget and supervise the implementation.
• Train electrical technicians and other involved personnel on standard methods of electrical work
• Maintain working relationship with partners and contractors in area of mutual interests for cost effective conduct of the operations.
• Connects electrical systems to powerlines to provide electricity to the equipment.
• Tests and inspects electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed.
• Performs periodic and random checks on electrical systems and conduct maintenance work on electrical installations with keen compliance to engineering standards and Health and safety guidelines.
• Prepare electrical related reports, method statements and other documentation related to electrical works
• Participate in electrical equipment, electricity and power system related materials, spares, and service tendering, and conduct bidding evaluations especially in the technical aspects.
• Prepare and spearhead annual inspection and certification of all electrical equipment, electricity and power system.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Superior.

Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering combined with further relevant training and at least 3 years’ experience in related works.
• Experience within a management role, work with subcontractors especially in international projects.
• Membership of a related Professional Institution or body preferred.
• At least 3 year related working experience in engineering design experience in oil &gas industry.
• Extensive knowledge of the statutory requirements such as Building regulations with regard to electrical work.
• Good skills in use of office software, AutoCAD-Electrical, Autodesk Revit MEP, Solid Works and any other relevant software.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical equipment, including HV/MV/LV transformer.
• A certificate of good conduct.
• A Practicing Electrical permit or License is A must.
• Good communication skills’
• Certificate in Healthy and safety training
• Interpretation of Local, National and Project design codes and specifications
