Position Summary: RI is recruiting to hire a short term consultant to lead RI’s to support the preparation of Kyaka II Refugee settlement investment case/concept note and proposal.
This position will require the consultant to travel to Kyakka II refugee settlement and draft an investment case for RI Uganda.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The purpose of this position is to prepare an investment case and concept note/proposal for RI Uganda in Kyaka II Refugee Settlement.

Deliverables

1. Completed investment case for Kyaka II Refugee Settlement
   a. Prepare a detailed investment case for Kyakka II Refugee Settlement.
   b. Prepare a one page summary of the suggested investment that will be shared with partners and stakeholders.
   Baseline data collection. Review and collect baseline data for the selected health priorities.
   Conduct detailed stakeholder consultations: Meet with Key stakeholders and get their inputs and buy in.
   
2. Prepare a budget and cost the intervention. The consultant will cost the activities in the suggested invested case.
   

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 15 years’ experience in working in Sub Sahara Health Sectors. Experience in Uganda Health sector preferred.
  
• Degree in Medicine, Public Health, or Hospital management. A Master’s Degree preferred.
  
• Experience in working with Government and refugee stakeholders including Ministry of Health/ District Health officials.
  
• Proved Proposal, investment case, or business case writing skills.
  
• Proven skills in research with validated publications.
  
• Availability to complete the assignment in the given time.
  
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, required in English.
  
• Preferred NGO experience and knowledge of business case development.
