Main purpose of the job:
Implement Pride’s Procurement and Disposal Unit (PDU) activities regarding all equipment, stationery, services, works, contracts and non-consultancy services in line with PPDA, Prides policies and the corporate plan.
Duties and responsibilities:
1. Implement activities of the PDU purchasing operations according to PPDA guidelines and the procurement policies and procedures of Pride.
2. Maintain a prequalified list of suppliers, organize pre bid meetings, bid closing and bid opening.
3. Prepare contracts committee schedule and coordinate contracts committee meetings.
4. Maintain overall procurement data.
Key performance indicators:
1. Compliance with procurement and disposal manual in all PDU Activities.
2. Timely presentation of reports.
3. Appropriate notification to the bidders.
4. Up-to-date and accessible procurement records.

Main purpose of the job:
The main role of the CRB-Data Officer will be to support Pride’s CRB operations by analyzing and providing insights from company data.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Analyse input and output CRB files for identification and data gaps and following up on data correction by branches.
• Performing analysis to assess quality and meaning of data.
• Clear data files and submit data files to CRBs for validation.
• Filter Data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct data problems
• Retrieve results of validation.
• Appraise results for any rejections, identify the cause of rejections and make necessary corrections.
2. Identify aspects in processes and systems that can affect the data quality and raise these aspects to management for resolution.
• Carryout a review of regulations against current Pride’s policies.
• Preparing reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
• Review the data submission manual against core banking system whenever an updated version is released.
• Working with ICT to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies.
• Review the loan application process whenever policy reviews are done to ensure compliance.
• Advice on required system changes to align loan processes with BOU regulations.
Minimum academic qualifications and experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Science or related Mathematics field.
• Strong mathematical skills to enable collection, measurement, organization and analyzing of data.
• Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel, SPSS, SAS to be used for data set analyzing.
• A minimum of 2 years professional work experience in the field of data extraction and analysis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

2. Identify aspects in processes and systems that can affect the data quality and raise these aspects to management for resolution.
3. Resolve issues raised by branches and Comp scan related to credit reference process.
4. Meet expected customer service standards.
5. Handle opening of new accounts and any other account related issues.
6. Provide timely reports.
7. Monthly reconciliations in order to make payments to service providers.
8. Creation of new users and tracking user database on the Credit Reference Bureau.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Economics, Microfinance, Business Administration, or in any other relevant field.
• At least two years’ experience in reputable financial institution.

4. Represent Pride in courts of law and any other fora and design appropriate litigation strategy to monitor the progress of litigation matters
5. Ensure recovery of written off and bad loans.
6. Supervise, build capacity and appraise subordinate staff in relation to departmental matters.
