We are seeking to recruit a Senior Internal Auditor to support the Team Leader, Internal Audit and Risk Management (T L, IARM) in providing an independent and objective assurance of Watoto Ministries' operating systems and to evaluate and make recommendations to minimize risk.
Key Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to)
1. Support with Internal Audit Strategic Activities
• Support in the annual review, update of the Internal Audit Universe, and use the updated Universe to support in the review and operationalization of the Audit Cycle Plan.
• Support the T L, IARM to review, operationalize the Internal Audit Charter, and support the completion of the Internal Audit Manual.
• Support the T L, IARM to establish the operational file format for the different types of assignments.
• Contribute to the development of the annual audit and risk management plan and take lead on the implementation of the Annual Audit plan to ensure adherence to timeline.
• Spearhead a detailed audit planning for each assignment and ensure it includes the objectives for each audit, the scope, the duration, and the areas of focus.
• Support in making follow-ups and implementation of all internal and external audit issues leveraging the Audit Committee and the Leadership Team.
• Support the coordination of external auditors' activities including how best to leverage the work performed and results produced from Internal Audit's work.
• Support in the preparation of the audit reports, quarterly reports, minutes, and action papers for the Audit Committee.
2. Fieldwork and Investigative Audit Activities
• Develop an audit plan for each internal audit assignment and supervise the Internal Audit Assistants in the preparation of the Audit file.
• Prepare Internal Audit reports for each assignment on completion of fieldwork.
• Support the T L, IARM in conducting special investigations, management consultancy and independent reviews in areas related to fraud, risk management and safety.
• Participate in the design of an electronic file numbering system and ensure that all audit related documents both hard-copy and electronic are properly filed, and that the filing system is up-to date.
3. Management and Coordination of Team activities o Participate in the design of the competency framework and incorporate it into the appraisal process.
• Organise regular departmental staff meetings to ensure proper and open communication of departmental plans and feedback from team members.
• Support the incorporation of the designed training programme in the annual planning and calendar for the Audit Department.
• Set and agree on performance targets for the Internal Audit assessment.
4. Administration and Budgeting
• Participate in the development and management of the department budget to ensure availability of funds for planned Internal Audit activities.
• Review the periodic Internal Audit financial statements and budget updates from Finance department; taking appropriate corrective action in case of any variance from what has been planned
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience.
• Mandatory requirement: the applicant should be a born again Christian, a member of Watoto Church and a member of a cell group.
• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (minimum upper second class) in a relevant field from a reputable university.
• Should be undertaking a professional course, either ACCA or CPA
• A minimum of three years' working experience in auditing in a reputable organization, of which one year should be as a Senior Auditor.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with the Audit software and accounting packages. Good management skills
• Good investigation skills
• Excellent report writing skills

We are seeking to recruit Programs Officer to support in the design and in the development of high quality, innovative programs that deliver immediate and lasting change for Neighbourhood mothers and children.
Key Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to)
Program Design and Development.
• Contribute to the development, maintenance, and review of strategy for Neighborhood
• Support in the design and development of innovative program and coordination of all technical input to the neighborhood strategy, proposals, and reports.
• Support in development of standardized programs and unit log-frames that are aligned with Ministry's strategy and Vision.
• Participate in the Identification of stakeholders to expand resources and raising funding to enable program flow.
• Maintain good working relationships with key local stakeholders and solicit participation with other like-minded partners/organizations.
• Conduct comprehensive analysis and research of political, social and economic situation in the country in relation to the WASH, Education, and Health services.
Documentation.
• Develop documentation for funding programs, policies, frameworks that facilitate the program implementation and streamline leadership performance policies and procedures.
• Support the program operations in South Sudan in meetings their needs for quality programming and developing programs that effectively meet the needs of the mothers and the children.
• Create and maintain the program documents in line with Watoto NE-ID vision.
• Maintain a proper filing system of all activities implemented in the program.
• Oversee WASH and enrich KAGIS/ NCP (Neighbourhood Children's program) in the community.
• Benchmark with like-minded organisations implementing WASH activities to acquire knowledge.
• Engage with relevant key stakeholders to assist with identification, mobilization, and sensitization target communities for promotion.
• Capacity building sessions for Hygiene promoters, water source and sanitation committees organised.
• Conduct awareness and training activities for teenagers, youth, and adults on menstrual Hygiene management.
• Conduct research on the skills that are relevant for the mothers in the local market.
• Conduct skills assessment and mapping for the mothers.
• Identify competent trainers to induct in the training program.
• Coordinate the training, schedules, communication to the mothers, meetings spaces, materials, and logistical preparations involved.
Assist in Monitoring and Evaluation Duties.
• Support on the development and implementation of a qualitative and quantitative Monitoring and Evaluation tools, data management and routine program monitoring activities. o Ensure proper filing of project documents and reports.
• Support on the routine monitoring, spot checks and follow-up of projects activities.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience.
• The applicant for the role of Programs Officer should hold at least a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Project management or any relevant discipline and knowledge of technical skills is an added advantage
• A minimum of three years' working experience in a similar role in a busy environment.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft applications and project management skills.
• Must be willing to live up to organisational values.
• Should possess the ability to write and present analytical and informative reports.
• Should be a good communicator, must have a high level of integrity, confidentiality, trust, good work ethics and sound judgement.
• Commitment to work within a team and multicultural environment and ability to work under minimal supervision.
