Job Title: Excavator/ TLB Operator

Job Purpose
Responsible for the safe, effective and efficient operation of Excavator and Tractor Loader- Backhoe plant according to operational needs.

Educational Qualifications
• PLE Certificate and practical mechanics

• Experience Requirements
• 5 years experience of in operating an Excavator/ TLB.

• Other Requirements
• Must be able to communicate, read and write clearly and professionally in English.
• Must be able to get to and from work at all times.
• Operating skills, attention to detail and discipline.
• Must be multi-skilled to be able to operate other plants as and when required.

• Key Job Responsibilities
• Test the plant equipment thoroughly.
• Push, spread, compact, lift, move and/or cover material.
• Vehicle must be cleaned.
• Ensure that the plant is thoroughly inspected.
• Ensure the checklist of machinery is completed daily.
• Report any defects to the supervisor.
• Housekeeping of equipment.
