JOB DETAILS:
Memprow, a feminist organisation that is working to attain a violence free society where young women and girls can claim their rights, seeks to recruit a new Executive Director (ED) who will be based at the main office, in Kampala. .

The Executive Director who reports to the Board, is expected to provide strategic leadership, spear head resource mobilization efforts and expand the network of donors and partners that support MEMPROW's vision and mission. The ED is also responsible for overseeing the day to day administration ofthe organisation, supervision ofstaff, programme development and implementation, and community outreach.

Professional qualities: A Masters’ degree in social sciences; Five or more years’ senior management experience in a non-profit organisation; solid organisational abilities and demonstrable fundraising experience. Previous success in establishing relationships with individuals and organizations of influence including funders, partner agencies and volunteers will be an added advantage.

Other desirable qualities: familiarity with human rights/ feminist approach, integrity, a strong work ethic, team work, good stewardship, professionalism, justice and equity and good public relations in interactions with all stakeholders.
