JOB DETAILS:

Location: Kampala, Uganda. Mobilized to Albert Lake, construction sites or other cities if required.

Primary function:
Support in Oilfield Facility maintenance and management and participate in pre-production preparation.

Responsibilities:
• Participate in the pre-production preparation during project period.
• Participate in engineering work, supply technical support and advice during design, construction and pre-commissioning.
• Cooperate for new oil-field commissioning, start up and Engineering left over issue follow up.
• Assist to organize technical support for on-site facility maintenance and management and resolve the facility issues. management
• Support oil field facility management, prepare facility strategy, organize and compile facility management procedures and supervise implementation to ensure high integrity and good status.
• Ensure all facility annual inspections and certifications are carried out on time.
• Participate in facility related materials, spares and service tendering, and conduct bidding evaluations especially in the technical aspects.
• Assist the development of studies and related programs to optimize revamping of facilities.
• Ensure all new projects are fully integrated into ongoing operations, minimizing production disruption.
• Assist the facility related work program and budget preparation and supervise the implement.
• Ensure emergency maintenance of facility, minimum influence to production, reduce personnel and asset damage.
• Assist in managing of change and modification, lead the potential risk and hazard corrective.
• Prepare facility related reports. Support to maintain appropriate relationship with government and partners to supply data and information required and solve problems of common interests;
• Assist to maintain working relationship with partners and contractors in area of mutual interests for cost effective conduct of the operations;
• Perform facility summary and analysis, providing improvement or preventive measures.
• Perform other duties assigned by superior.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Facility Management or other related engineering disciplines.
• At least 4 years' experience in Oil & Gas industry related facility management, 2-years' experience in civil engineering. Oilfield working experience is preferred.

Knowledge:
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical or instrument or electrical works.
• Experience with equipment maintenance and management.
