JOB DETAILS:
Key Outputs

Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. To offer holistic support to fellows by following up their admissions, visa applications and preparing for their arrival.
2. Follow up the study plan progress with planned deliverables and support fellows on bottlenecks- technical and procedural- that may be causing them delays.
3. She/he will support the collation of applications for initial eligibility screening.
4. Provide advisory services to fellows during preparation of their applications, including responding to queries, technical or procedural.
5. Develop a database of admitted fellows.
6. Support induction of fellows as well as their settling in.
7. Provide continuous technical support to fellows including technical advice during their study period both onsite and offsite.
8. Conduct fellows follow-up to ensure that they are up- to- date with the milestones and deliverables they have set especially during the period of the Social Initiative.
9. Prepare reports and to provide feedback to management on each fellow.
10. Trouble –shoot welfare issues that are stalling fellows’ projects including technical implementation issues, and other encumbrances and propose solutions to overcome them.
11. Support researchers in developing knowledge products for dissemination of findings
12. Maintain a tracking of project performance of all fellows

Minimum Academic Qualifications
• A Master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies or a Masters of International Relations and Diplomatic Studies
• Additional certificate in a foreign language is desirable (Kiswahili, French or Germany)
• A Bachelors in International Studies or International Relations or a related field.

• Any other additional training is an added advantage.
