Saferworld is an independent international organisation working to prevent violent conflict and build safer lives. We work with local people affected by conflict to improve their safety and sense of security, whilst conducting wider research and analysis into the drivers of conflict. We use this evidence and learning to improve local, national and international policies and practices that can help build lasting peace.

We use the evidence and experience from our in country programmes and the expertise our staff, partners and networks -I to make recommendations. Saferworld has been working in Africa since 199'/, with (I primary focus upon East Africa and the Horn region. We have well--established programmes in Kenya, Uganda. Somalia and South Sudan. in addition. Saferworlrl supports regional and international conflict prevention and security processes. Saferworld headquarters are in London, with offices in Nairobi, Kampala and Juba.

Finance Manager
The Finance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and transparent management of the Kampala office regional programmers’ finances in line with recognised accounting/auditing standards and Saferworld procedures, in the context of fast growing programmes. The Finance Manager will also be responsible for the development of new systems, including the systems of key partner organisations, and the maintenance of robust financial controls to support this growth.
