JOB DETAILS:

Job Purpose / Objective:
Overseeing the financial aspects of the company, ensuring efficient resource allocation, budget management, and financial reporting.
Manage the project's financial resources, monitor costs, ensure budget adherence, provide financial insights to decision-makers, and maintain regulatory compliance.
Supports the project's financial stability and contribute to the project's successful completion within budget and regulatory compliance.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:
• Budget Planning: Collaborate with project managers to develop project budgets, including estimating costs for materials, labor, equipment, and other expenses.
• Resource Allocation: Allocate financial resources efficiently to various project components while ensuring cost optimization.
• Financial Monitoring: Regularly monitor project expenses against the budget, identify variances, and implement corrective actions if necessary.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including cash flow statements, income statements, and balance sheets, for project stakeholders.
• Risk Assessment: Identify financial risks, analyze their potential impact, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
• Cost Analysis: Analyze project costs and expenditures to provide insights on cost-saving opportunities and resource utilization.
• Contract Management: Ensure that financial terms and conditions in contracts are understood and adhered to, and manage any financial disputes that arise.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that financial practices adhere to legal and regulatory requirements, including taxation and reporting standards.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage project cash flow to ensure that sufficient funds are available to support ongoing activities.
• Financial Decision Support: Provide financial insights and analysis to assist project managers and stakeholders in making informed decisions.
• Performs any other duty as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
• Budget Adherence: Keeping project expenditures within the approved budget.
• Cost Control: Monitoring and managing costs to avoid overruns.
• Financial Reporting Accuracy: Providing accurate and timely financial reports.
• Cash Flow Management: Ensuring sufficient cash flow for project operations.
• Financial Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating financial risks.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring adherence to financial regulations and standards.
• Timeliness: Meeting deadlines for financial reporting and analysis.

Work Experience, Skills and Knowledge:
• Financial Expertise: Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and cost control in construction projects.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and provide meaningful insights.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in financial reporting and analysis.
• Communication: Effective communication skills to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Skill in identifying financial challenges and proposing solutions.
• Leadership: Ability to lead a finance team and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with financial regulations, taxation, and reporting standards.
• Decision-Making: Ability to make informed financial decisions aligned with project goals.
• Negotiation Skills: Capability to negotiate financial terms with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with financial software, project management tools, and spreadsheet applications.
• Professionalism: Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
• Working experience: Possession 10 years working experience at least 5 of them at a supervisory level.
