Job Summary
The Finance Officer is responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring the accurate processing of invoices, timely payments, and adherence to financial regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Review, validate, and record invoices to ensure compliance with contracts and purchase orders.
• Coordinate with the treasury department to ensure efficient payment processing.
• Monitor outstanding payments and analyze their impact on the company’s cash flow.
• Maintain regular communication with suppliers to address any issues related to invoices and payments.
• Resolve payment-related disputes and negotiate credit terms with suppliers.
• Conduct bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial records.
• Prepare detailed accounts payable reports, including payment status and financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements related to payments.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
• Identify and implement improvements in the accounts payable processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Automate repetitive tasks to optimize operations and enhance productivity.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Commerce.
• Completion of CPA, ACCA, or an equivalent certification is required.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in SAP and MS Office tools.
• Strong adherence to deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong multitasking and time management abilities.
