JOB DETAILS:
A consultancy firm is hiring an experienced Finance Officer to manage the day-to-day finance operations and provide checks and balances in financial expenses that will minimise operational losses- leading to growth. Job Purpose
To lead all day-to-day accounting operations, with functional responsibility for accounting, accounts payable, payroll and account record keeping and storage. Provide financial analysis to management on the cost effectiveness of organisation operations and provide practical solutions.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
• Review and implement financial policies.
• Maintain system of accounts and keep books and records on all transactions and assets.
• Prepare, analyze, and produce accurate monthly, and annual financial reports.
• Provide financial advice to management based on critical financial and operational analysis.
• Ensure that all financial transactions are processed accurately, in a timely manner, and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Prepare and participate in financial audits.
• Verify payroll and process payments.
• Implement statutory registrations and filings.
• Manage procurement.

Qualifications:
• Master's degree in business administration or accounts is preferred.
• Minimum of a BSc degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce, or other related field.
• A Certified Public Accountant title or its equivalent is an added advantage.
• Has 5 years of related work experience

Key Competences:
• Proven work experience as a Finance Officer or similar role.
• Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures.
• Experience using accounting software, such as QuickBooks.
• Knowledge of financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical. numerical and organizational skills.
• Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.
• Self-motivated and detail oriented.
