JOB DETAILS:
Duties & Responsibilities
• Directing financial planning and strategy.
• Analyzing and reporting on financial performances.
• Overseeing audit and tax function.
• Developing and implementing accounting policies.
• Preparing forecasts and comprehensive budgets.
• Training accounting Staff.
• Reviewing Departmental budgets.
• Assessing, managing, and minimizing risk.
• Analyzing complex financial data.
• Managing Internal control.
• Budgeting and monitoring of project expenditures.
• Maintaining and supervising project accounts.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
• Degree in Economics or in a related field.
• 15 years of proven work experience in Finance Administration on international Construction projects of which 5years should be with an international construction company working on oil and gas projects
• Advanced knowledge in computing programs of Micro Soft applications inclusive of MS FrontPage and MS Project.
• Advanced knowledge in ACL and IDEA (data analysis tools in Audit) and SPSS (data analysis tools) with Visual Basics, SQL and HTML, SAP/R3 and AS/400 especially in modules SAP FI-CO and MM, Strong knowledge of POC, POCP (public), POCMS (Health) and POCFIM (Investment Funds), IFRS and IAS.
• Good financial reporting skills.
• Good team leadership and mentorship skills.
• Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
• A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
