JOB DETAILS:
Favor of God Ministries is seeking a dedicated and qualified individual to join our team as a Fisheries Officer. This role is integral to the growth and development of our fisheries projects, contributing to the organization's mission of creating sustainable livelihoods for the community.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Fisheries Officer, you will:
1. Manage and oversee hatchery operations, including breeding, rearing, and monitoring the health of fish stock.
2. Coordinate pond management activities, ensuring proper maintenance and productivity.
3. Implement strategies for fisheries value chain development, including production, processing, and marketing.
4. Train and mentor community members in sustainable fisheries practices.
5. Monitor and evaluate the performance of fisheries projects and report on progress.
6. Collaborate with other team members to meet organizational goals and deliver impactful programs.
7. Uphold the values and mission of Favor of God Ministries in all activities.

Required Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
• A Degree in Fisheries with at least 3 years of relevant experience, OR a Diploma in Fisheries with at least 5 years of experience.
• Demonstrated skills in:
o Hatchery and pond management.
o Fisheries value chain development.
o Marketing and distribution of fisheries products.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to working in a Christian faith-based organization.
• Must be a mature, born-again Christian with strong moral integrity and values.
