JOB DETAILS:
Are you a creative and detail-oriented carpenter with a passion for bringing furniture designs to life through illustrations and drawings while leading a team? We are seeking a Furniture Design Illustrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming conceptual furniture designs into visually stunning, detailed drawings that serve as a crucial bridge between ideas and the manufacturing process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design Conceptualization: Collaborate with the design team to understand and interpret their conceptual furniture ideas, sketches, and specifications.
• Detailed Drawings: Create highly detailed, accurate, and dimensionally precise drawings of furniture designs, incorporating materials, dimensions, and construction specifications.
• Technical Expertise: Utilize various design software tools, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar programs, to produce technical drawings that meet industry standards.
• Material Selection: Work with the design team to choose appropriate materials for each furniture piece, ensuring that the materials align with the design concept and functional requirements.
• Prototyping Support: Assist in the development of physical prototypes or models based on your drawings, providing valuable feedback and adjustments as necessary.
• Quality Control: Review and refine drawings to ensure they meet quality standards, functionality, and manufacturing feasibility.
• Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with the design team, production team, and other stakeholders to ensure design intent is accurately translated into drawings.
• Documentation: Organize and maintain a comprehensive library of drawings, specifications, and design-related documents for easy reference and future design iterations.
• Adaptability: Be prepared to modify drawings based on feedback, design changes, or manufacturing requirements, ensuring a seamless transition from concept to production.
• Deadline Management: Prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines and ensure that drawings are completed on time to support project timelines.

REQUIREMENTS:
• 5+ years of Carpentry Expereince.
• Positive, upbeat personality with the ability to inspire and motivate staff in a team environment.
• Experience is hands-on carpentry work
• A degree or diploma in a relevant field such as Industrial Design, Interior Design, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Proficiency in design software tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar programs is essential.
• Strong artistic and creative skills, as well as an ability to interpret design concepts into visually appealing drawings.
• Exceptional attention to detail, precision, and accuracy in creating technical drawings.
• Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and manufacturers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey design intent and collaborate with others.
• Willingness to adapt to changing design concepts and requirements.
