JOB DETAILS:
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Help the Head of Country with a deeper understanding of the market. Most important decisions are made by Head of Country and the General Manager, so it is paramount that you know your way around doing business in Uganda.
• Play a crucial role in building the best known and most loved e-mobility brand in Uganda. Use your connections and network to build organization from the ground up. It is crucial that you are well informed and know your way in the e-mobility business.
• Drive growth by creating a sales strategy and work on our rapidly growing business models (B2C & B2B)
• Set up and lead the sales department.
• Oversee all (sales)content that is put out and ensure consistency.
• Maintain and create new partnerships with a strong focus on growing our customer base.
• Create and maintain the budget together with the Head of Country.
• Organise offline events, and workshops to attract new clients and employees.
• Play a key role in creating equal opportunities for everyone and celebrate the impact we will make.
PROFILE
• Affinity with the company purpose: build something extraordinary for the African market, lead the transition to clean energy and make a significant social impact.
• Ability to strategize and execute at the same time (zoom in and out, getting things done)
• Hunger for growth, continuous learning and you believe in the power of sharing and community.
• 5 – 10+ Years of working experience
• Experience working in a high-growth tech company is a pré
• Experience cross-borders in Africa is a pré
• A great eye for design and detail
• A passion for a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Flexible, working outside office hours if required.
• Extensive understanding of Ugandan (start-up) business environment
