JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the General Manager (GM) will be responsible for providing overall Business Strategic Leadership and execution to achieve sustainable growth and Profitability of the Company. The GM will be responsible as well as accountable for all operations and functions of the Business working closely with the Board of Directors and Senior Management Team providing overall strategic leadership and execution.

Main Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the strategic direction of the business and a strong focus on cross-functional operations and departments, networking across internal and external boundaries.
• Providing overall leadership and Vision in developing sustainable long-term growth and strategic direction for the Business.
• Managing the development of the Business in terms of Product set and distribution.
• Manage key external relationships to create a supportive brand, inclusive of media and marketing strategies.
• Developing and maintaining a sound, effective organizational culture and values ensuring capable management succession as well as staff development and progression through training and development programs.
• Advising the Board on Business plans and operational issues and leading the implementation of Board decisions.
• Developing, maintaining, nurturing and managing, and building trust-based relationships with all Company’s important internal and external stakeholders.
• Continuously analyze all the business risks and determine strategies for managing them and ensuring that the Company assets are always adequately safeguarded and maintained.
• Overseeing all operations, functions, and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results, which are consistent with the Company’s overall strategy and mission.

Qualification and Experience
• A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or any other related discipline plus a Master’s Degree in Business Management Administration or Leadership
• At least Five (5) years of relevant Senior Business Leadership and Management
• An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and Public speaking skills.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices.
• Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, HR, Finance, etc
• Strong understanding of Corporate Finance and Performance Management principles.
