On behalf of our client TOTAL ENERGIES, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced General Services Coordinator – Temporary Staff (Maternity Cover) to work in Kampala.

Job Description
Job Title: Temporary Staff (Maternity Cover) – General Services Coordinator
Reports to: Facilities & Services Supervisor – Office
Section: General Services
Department: Human Resources & Administration.
Location: Kampala

Activities
The job holder is responsible for:
1. Coordinate lease contractual agreements and conditions therein.
2. Monitor the maintenance of Company’s office facilities and warehouse/storage space and associated equipment.
3. (air-conditioning, stabilizers, fire detection system, suppression and fighting equipment & UPS)
4. Organize audits on company facilities and residences in compliance to HSE policies and procedures.
5. Monitor the maintenance of expatriates’ houses, in liaison with the maintenance service team.
6. Write work-scopes and provide technical analysis for call for tenders related to his scope of activities.
7. Analyze costs and expenditure for housing and office general services works and services to ensure value for money and
8. Compliance with budget estimates.
9. Assist in the write-up of company procedures and policies related activities within his scope of work.
10. Organize and conduct inventory of office and housing assets on a regular basis and upon arrival/departure of an expatriate Staff.
11. Provide accurate information on company leased offices’ & residences for data collection.
12. Arrange the disposal of obsolete and unwanted company inventory as per the Company guidelines.
13. Carry out any other duties that may be assigned to him/her by the hierarchy

Qualifications/Experience required
Qualification: University degree in construction management, Quantity Surveyor, Building sciences, Facility Management, or Engineering

Experience:
1. English (written & spoken)
2. Confidentiality, strong interpersonal skills are required
3. Good organization skills and aptitude to work under stress
4. Good HSE knowledge and awareness Excellent interpersonal skills (including team management), written and oral communication skills


Job Experience: No Requirements

Work Hours: 8

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
