JOB SUMMARY
The Government Relations Manager is responsible for developing strong relationships with government ministries, departments, and agencies. The position requires demonstrated exemplary negotiation skills, effective stakeholder relations, and a solid track record of handling government-related issues.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and implement engagement strategies for governmental and related project stakeholders.
• Coordinate relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment between EACOP requirements and government expectations.
• Provide relevant input to the Central Government, local authorities, ministries, and related entities.
• Support EACOP departments in effective engagement with governmental and local government entities.
• Represent EACOP in industry forums as needed.
• Ensure alignment between EACOP and government strategies on regulatory issues.

Academic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a Communications discipline, International Relations, or another relevant field.

Experience Required:
• 5+ years of experience working with Uganda governmental affairs and related processes.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
