Role Overview:
The Grants Specialist will manage the allocation, monitoring, and reporting of grants provided to women entrepreneurs under the GROW Project. This position is critical to ensuring that financial resources are used effectively and transparently to achieve the project’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage grant application and selection processes.
• Provide technical assistance to grant recipients on financial management and reporting.
• Monitor and evaluate grant utilization to ensure compliance with project goals and guidelines.
• Prepare detailed grant disbursement and utilization reports.
• Coordinate with other team members to identify areas where grants can create the most impact.
• Ensure adherence to World Bank grant management policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an added advantage.
• At least 5 years of experience in grants management within development projects.
• Strong understanding of World Bank procurement and financial guidelines.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and compliance.
• Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
