Job Summary
Responsible for Performing high-pressure Hydrostatic and Pneumatic testing according to the procedure or customer specifications of equipment such as tanks, pipes, valves, and vessels to detect and locate leaks.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Testing package preparation
• Plan and coordinate all testing processes to be performed.
• Define all equipment to be used in the testing process to be performed.
• Operate high-pressure apparatus such as air compressor or hydraulic pump.
• Perform pressure and temperature chart recording.
• Read and interpret the result of a pressure test.
• Troubleshoot pressure equipment.
• Perform repairs and maintenance of pressure equipment.
• Ensure that work is conducted in accordance with the Safety Requirements of the product or equipment.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
• Higher national diploma in mechanical engineering, or certificate/training in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a High-Pressure hydro test engineering
• Ability to read piping and instrument diagram drawings, Isometric drawings.
• Testing document preparation as per the project’s specifications.
• Fluency in the English language.
• Knowledge of fundamental testing and inspection.
• Knowledge of pressure equipment and tool usage.
• Ability to read and work independently from written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to report faulty equipment to the superintendent.
• Ability to communicate effectively and complete formatted written reports.
• Ability to observe health and safety procedures.
• Ability to determine appropriate actions beyond guidelines and report potentially unsafe conditions.
• Use equipment and materials appropriately.
• Ability to immediately report all incidents/accidents, no matter how minor, to your seniors.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
