Job Summary
Responsible for implementing processes and procedures in the designated site areas to ensure lamination, bonding, laying, and capping of GRE pipes.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Perform underground high-pressure GRE/GRP piping execution according to project procedure and specifications.
• Isometric drawing weld map and good reading skills in isometric drawings
• Piping documentation
• Daily and weekly work planning
• Ensure that work is conducted in accordance with the Safety Requirements of the product or equipment.
• Monitor the hydro test of AG/UG piping, loop offer for mechanical clearance, check fit-up and weld visual and get the line cleared for Insulation.
• Ensure implementation of safe working standards, procedures, and other applicable requirement in the project’s monitoring and supervision of filed piping activities carried out by the subcontractors.
• Monitoring the quality and the progress of the work scope adherence to the company and the contractor procedures.
• Ensuring the filed piping and assembly activities are carried out the schedule and by the highest HSE standards.
• Proactively involved in the preparation of GRE pipeline drawing and erection of prefabricated spools.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
• Higher national diploma in mechanical engineering, or certificate/training in a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of proven experience as a GRE/GRP piping supervisor.
• Ability to read piping & instrument diagram drawings, Isometric drawings.
• Ability to read piping general arrangement drawings.
• Construction, Inspection, and maintenance experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Power generation industries.
• Inspection of assembly Piping / Pipe support fabrication erection, Hydrostatic test, and reinstatements according to approved project specifications and with reference to API, ASME & AISC codes.
• Well familiar with U/G, RTR, GRP & A/G process piping, piping materials, and their codes of identification.
• Ability to execute piping site erection, especially in underground GRE piping.
• Fluency in the English language.
• Knowledge of piping execution and inspection.
• Ability to manage more than 5 team leaders.
• Ability to read and work independently from written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to get good productivity.
• Ability to communicate effectively and complete formatted written reports.
• Ability to observe health and safety procedures.
• Ability to determine appropriate actions beyond guidelines and report potentially unsafe conditions.
• Ability to attend meetings with clients.
• Ability to immediately report all incidents/accidents, no matter how minor, to your seniors.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
