JOB DETAILS:
Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a competent, skilled and experienced HR Operations Specialist to work in Kampala Uganda.

Job type: Short Term-Maternity Cover
Duration: 2 months (August & September 2024)
Reports to: HR Business Partner
Location: Kampala

Role Overview
The HR Operations Specialist will work in a truly global environment to take ownership in leading, developing, and executing the company’s sustainability activities to achieve their vision for a thriving, sustainable business for all.

Key Accountabilities
Responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:
• Manage and process payroll for employees accurately and on time.
• Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
• Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation programs and offboarding.
• Maintain HR records and ensure all employee data is accurate and up to date.
• Assist in performance management processes, including documentation and tracking.
• Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
• Support employee relations activities and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with HR team members on special projects and initiatives as needed.

Mandatory Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience 2+ years in HR operations, payroll, or benefits administration

Competencies:
• Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
