About the Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
The HR Specialist will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of general human resource management. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinating recruitment, onboarding, and employee orientation programs
- Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
- Handling employee relations and resolving workplace conflicts
- Managing performance evaluations and appraisal systems
- Overseeing payroll, leave management, and other employee benefits
- Ensuring compliance with labor laws and organizational policies
- Supporting learning and development initiatives
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Advising management on best HR practices and strategic planning
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 5 years of professional HR experience in a reputable organization
- Proven knowledge of Ugandan labor laws and HR best practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
