Head Finance
Job Summary: The Head Finance is the lead of the University’s Finance Department and is responsible for managing all accounting activities of both the financial and management accounts of the University. The Head will drive the University’s financial strategy, budgeting and planning, manage all audit and internal controls, monitor financial performance and risks, conduct analysis and prepare strategic periodical financial reports to management, ensure that all accounting activities comply with Standards, regulations and laws.
Qualifications & Profile:
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or in a related field with excellent technical accounting skills; professional qualification and member of ICPAU; Master’s degree in the relevant fields; more than 10 years’ experience in a senior financial managerial position; successfully managed/coordinated over five recent unqualified external Audit processes; expert in the computer ledger system; advanced knowledge of excel; excellent verbal, written & presentation skills; able to lead a finance team; a mature and practicing Christian who upholds the University’s Core values and Instruments of Identity.
