Position: Head Milk Procurement – South Western Region
Reports to: General Manager – Milk Procurement and Extension Services
Duty Station: South and Western Regions in Uganda
Job Summary
The Head Milk Procurement is responsible for milk procurement, extension, production enhancement activities, planning, organizing & monitoring field operations at the milk collection & bulking centers & transportation to the processing plant and related tasks as per agreed guidelines according to Brookside Limited policy. .

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for milk procurement, extension and production enhancement activities.
• Collect and analyses milk data & plan for increased volumes.
• Plan, organize and monitor field operations at the bulking centers and transportation to the processing plant.
• Design motivational programs and incentives to the dairy farmers.
• Monitor the activities of the farmers’ organizations and train them on clean milk production Practices.
• Conduct farmers’ meetings.
• Prepare appropriate reports

Required Qualifications and experience:
• Job holder must possess a Degree in Agriculture or Livestock with emphasis in animal husbandry or its equivalent from a reputable University.
• Experience of a at levels at 5years in extension activities
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Analytical and report writing skills
