Responsibilities
• Ensure compliance to internal policies and procedures of all Bancassurance services
• Lead the development of Strategy for Bancassurance, advise management on execution and monitoring of implementation progress.
• To supervise the daily Bancassurance operations which entrails cross – selling of products; posting of risks details, claims administration and documentation.
• To create new bank business relationships and partnerships whilst ensuring retention of existing business relationships through high standards of customer service.
• Ensure bank inquiries are resolved promptly as per laid down policies and procedures,
• Drive sustainable growth of the assigned portfolio in order to achieve the set standards and targets.
• Monitor and ensure the maintenance of accurate records and reports on Bancassurance transactions
• Champion the delivery of good customer service to ensure customer retention and royalty.
• Organize Bancassurance sales activation programs.
• Manage and monitor financial and revenue performance.
• Track the collection of premiums on all bancassurances business transacted.
• Champion training on ‘’Management of Bancassurance products’’ as well as oversee the ‘’Sensitization of customers’’ on Bancassurance products in partnership with banks.
• Prepare and submit monthly reports on the performance of Bancassurance Business.
Liaison with other departments
• Liaising with the claims department to ensure that the claims are paid on time and any outstanding premiums are collected before any payment is made
• Liaising with underwriting department to ensure policies with outstanding premiums are cancelled as per credit policy and no renewals are done for policies with outstanding premiums
• Take on of other responsibilities as when called upon
Management Information
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on production

Qualifications
• Bachelor degree in related business field or its equivalent;
• Professional qualifications i.e. CII Credits or its equivalent

Minimum 5 years’ experience and relevance in the insurance industry
