Title: FINANCIAL PLANNING AND REPORTING ACCOUNTANT
Reporting to: Head of Finance
Station: Namanve
Description:

King Millers Limited is a wheat milling company, located in Namanve and our flagship brand is NANO FORTIFIED BAKING WHEAT FLOUR..

Roles and Responsibilities
• Maintenance and development of production, purchases, import, freight, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and shipping documentation.
• Prepare, analyze and report weekly, monthly, quarterly gross margin analysis by brand and by customer type.
• Co-ordinate timely and accurate month-end closing: conduct cycle counts, prepare journal entries as necessary, analyze inventory valuation and inventory roll forward.
• Analyze cost accounting data and control company income and expenditure.
• Maintain internal control documentation and test internal controls.
• Prepare detailed account analysis and reconcile sales, costs, inventory movements and liability accounts.
• Preparation of accounts and tax returns.
• The creation and presentation of reports, business plans, budgets and financial statements.
• Conduct financial audits, forecasts and risk analysis.
• Perform any other finance & accounting duties that may be required from time to time.

Qualifications and Competencies
• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Management, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the FMCG Industry.
• Minimum of 2 years‘ Line management experience.
• Knowledge of Finance operations in a large FMCG Organization.
• Professional Certification (CPA/ACCA) is required.
• Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP or Tally is required.
• Must possess good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to provide strong leadership and motivation for the finance team
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access.
• Strong organizational and communicational skills
• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
• Applicant should be below 40 years of age.
