Head of Operations
Job summary:
The Client is looking for an experienced Head of Operations to lead the delivery of operational excellence at all levels of the organisation to support sustainability, strengthen practices, and improve ways of working in the school network and office. This includes the senior operational management for key areas of service delivery including Finance, Procurement, HR, IT and School Construction.

Specific responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Provide strategic leadership across operations depts, to ensure the Client delivers its 5-year strategy
• Senior operational management for key areas of service delivery including Finance, Procurement & Logistics, HR, IT
• Lead the annual planning and budgeting process across the organisation, while working with department heads
• Develop & innovative entrepreneurial revenue generation strategies to ensure the sustainability
• Champion sustainability, value for money and operational excellence across the whole organisation, most notably by driving all operational components of the Client’s ‘NextGen’ business transformation programme

Required qualifications and experience:
A Business or Accounting degree and a professional chartered qualification such as ACCA, CPA. Minimum of 8 years management and leadership experience in an operational and financial capacity.
Experience of mentoring and managing staff (including professional development, performance management. Experience in budgeting, cash flow management, monthly management accounts reporting, & financial systems. Clear and concise communicator, (verbally and in written form). Data driven – should be able to engage, interpret and understand data, prioritising data to inform decisions. Collaborative, able to work with diverse and large teams, including with local & international stakeholders. Knowledge of the use of financial management packages e.g Quick books, Navision as well as Word, Outlook, Excel, MS-Teams, PowerPoint etc.
