The ideal candidate must be based in Kampala, deeply share in our mission, and be a results-driven leader with a burning passion for and experience in managing teams and credit operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise all daily operations of the company
• Create, uphold, update, revise, and maintain all the performance dashboards, internal credit operations processes, and procedures as needed.
• Ensure strict adherence to local and international laws, including data protection regulations, to maintain our reputation and integrity.
• Monitor expenses and budgets to optimize costs while maintaining financial sustainability.
• Collaborate with the technology team to achieve an effective and efficient credit operations process.

Role Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in credit is mandatory, ideally in banking and/or start-up credit operations.
• Sufficient experience in managing teams of 5 or more.
• Comprehensive knowledge of local and international laws and regulations related to credit operations.
• Naturally logical and structured; possess sufficient composure to bring and maintain order in any working circumstances.
• Unafraid to be involved in front-line work to understand the business better.
• A strong ability to work with data and perform analysis, more liked if has experience collaborating with machine learning.
