Reports To Director Operations & Business Development
Job Overview
The Head of Deliveries shall be mandated to build and grow the deliveries unit in all aspects. Some of the core roles shall include; .

Job Responsibilities:
• Build a highly competent team for the Deliveries department
• Develop performance measures and continuously monitor performance of his/her team
• To do qualitative and quantitative research on the training needs of deliveries team and spearhead the skilling of the team
• To design and deliver, in a scalable and structured manner, the most delightful delivery experience for customers.
• Control and monitor the delivery team’s customer communication to ensure good customer experience.
• Monitor competitor’s delivery offerings and ensure all delivery options are competitive and compelling.
• Regular and consistent feedback activities / mechanisms to ascertain the services levels of 3rd Party Logistics providers and encourage improvements.
• Ensuring that all assigned vehicles are properly maintained, which includes routine maintenance and vehicle cleanliness. Ensure that maintenance expenses are minimized where possible.
• Tracking and administration of any incentive programs to create excitement.
• To design and implement the program to be efficient with scale but still be individually rewarding for the team.
