Background: The Uganda Sanitation for Health Activity (USHA) is financed by the United States Agency for international Development (USAID) in Uganda with the goal of increasing the number of people with access to improved and sustainable water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services, ultimately leading to improved health and nutrition status in focus areas and population groups. SNV USA is recruiting for three positions described below: Health Centre WASH Consultant .

The Health Centre WASH Consultant will lead a team of district, sub-county, and health centre personnel to develop assessments for Health Centre (HC) III’s in the Central West and Central East regions of Uganda. The Consultant will introduce USAID's Clean Clinics Approach (CCA) to the HCs, aligning the results of previous assessments to the CCA formats and tools used. The Consultant will contribute to the institutional capacity of these HCs to deliver services to the communities.

Qualifications: Over five years of sanitation and hygiene experience in Uganda, two years within the health centre context. Experience working with local government health systems. Good knowledge of WASH in health centre approaches (such as WASHFIT or CCA). Demonstrated experience using online data collection tools, data management and data analysis. Proven organizational, communication and management skills. Strong English oral and written skills, and a local language
