JOB DETAILS:
Position: Hotel Chef
• Direct, prepare or supervise cooking & other food preparation on a daily basis
• Monitor and oversee sanitation practices to ensure regulations and food safety standards
• Meet with customers as needed to arrange menu items & negotiate prices for catering weddings, banquets and other special occasion
• Co-ordinate all food purchasing, budgeting stat member’s operations with other
• Inspect cooking equipment, supplies, work Areas and ingredients to ensure constant conformity to regulatory and standards

Skills & Qualification
• Knowledge of Local African dishes
• Knowledge of Food related curriculum & training techniques
• Strong understanding of Food Health regulations & standards
• Ability to use common Kitchen tools including cutlery, Graters and Ranges

Preferred:
• High school Diploma in Catering or Foods and beverages
• Familiaty with analytical foods and menu preparation
