JOB DETAILS:
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
• Provide counselling on policies and procedures.
• Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads, and managing the hiring process.
• Create and implement effective onboarding plans.
• Develop training and development programs.
• Assist in performance management processes.
• Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
• Maintain employee records physical and electronic (attendance, biodata, and any other) according to policy and legal requirements.
• Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.
• Updating internal databases with new hire information
• Carry out monthly, quarterly, and yearly performance appraisal reviews.
• Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
• Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.
• Creating and distributing guidelines and FAQ documents about company policies
• Gather payroll data like bank accounts and working days.
• Prepare and maintain monthly timesheets and inform the ED and accounts on the Level of effort of every staff.
• Schedule job interviews and contact candidates as needed.
• Prepare reports and presentations on HR-related metrics like the total number of hires by the department.
• Develop training and onboarding materials.
• Respond to employees’ questions about benefits.
Key personal competences
• Proven experience as an HR Manager, administrator, or other HR position
• Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development)
• Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures.
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
• Strong ethics and reliability. Qualifications & job specifications:
• The successful candidate will have a BSc/BA in business administration, Human Resources Management, or a relevant field; further training will be a plus.
• HR Credentials (PHR from the HR Certification Institute).
