JOB DETAILS:
Job purpose:
To support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems by managing the hiring process, training and development as well as the Performance Management programs in the Bank.
Key Result Areas:
• Coordinate the recruitment process including recruitment ads, assist managers with screening applicants (shortlists), coordinate interviews and new hires.
• Conduct reference checks and perform essential background checks for the successful candidates.
• Coordinate with heads of departments for placement of staff and carry out all administrative procedures related to staff placement.
• Organize and manage new employee orientation, on-boarding and training programs
• Update on job requirements when staff hire requests are submitted
• Responsible for managing, designing, developing, coordinating and conducting all training programs in liaison with managers to identify training needs and mapping out development plans for teams and individuals.
• Modify existing training programs and develop new programs to ensure continued relevancy of the programs and their success.
• Schedule continuing skill development and technical training classes for existing staff members. Stress the importance of continual growth and learning.
• Support the design, review and implementation of relevant HR policies, processes, practices and tools related to staff development and staff performance to meet corporate and individual needs.
• Manage the performance management system and the outstanding performance of all employees and propose the development and improvement of the system.
• Add value to overall business objectives, providing HR solutions and decision support through HR metrics (Reports).
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Psychology, social sciences or a related field
• 2 or more years of demonstrated experience in the human resources field, with emphasis on employee growth and development strategies.

• Must have intermediate computer skills to format reports, presentations, spreadsheets, graphics, general word processing, etc.
• Must demonstrate the ability to work fairly independently and plan and manage projects
• Must be able to maintain time management & have good ethics
• Must have a deep understanding of adult learning theories, and experience with various training methods/tools and curriculum development
• Good ability in research, analysis and focus.
