JOB DETAILS:
Position Overview:
The Resilience Expert will collaborate with other evaluation team members on the process of evaluating FtF IAM activities, contributing to the development of high-quality, timely deliverables.

Level of Effort Expectations:
This position is expected to have an LOE of 35 days.

Responsibilities:
• Participate in the finalizing of the evaluation design, ensuring integration of the resilience component.
• Participate in all evaluation activities, including the design of data collection instruments, data collection and analysis, report writing, periodic meetings, etc., with a focus on resilience.
• Contribute to the consolidation of the final findings and recommendations.

Deliverables:
The Resilience Expert is expected to play a contributing role to the following deliverables:
• In-briefing
• Inception report
• Presentation of preliminary findings
• Draft evaluation report
• Final evaluation report

Requirements:
• Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field (e.g., disaster management, climate change adaptation, environmental science, or international development). Advanced degrees or specialized certifications in resilience-related disciplines may be advantageous.
• Practical experience in resilience planning, risk management, and adaptation strategies.
• Experience working on projects related to disaster resilience, climate change resilience, or community resilience in both rural and urban contexts is valuable.
• Familiarity with key concepts, such as risk reduction, vulnerability assessment, adaptive capacity, and community-based resilience approaches.
• Expertise in specific areas relevant to resilience, such as disaster risk reduction, climate change adaptation, ecosystem management, infrastructure planning, and social resilience.
• Strong grasp of relevant policies, regulations, and international frameworks.
