Location: Galaxy International School Uganda
Galaxy International School Uganda (GISU), an accredited Cambridge International School, is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified ICT Teacher for a maternity cover position. We pride ourselves on providing a globally competitive education and fostering excellence in our students.

Job Summary
As an ICT Teacher, you will inspire and educate students in the field of Information and Communication Technology, delivering lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum. You will also contribute to creating a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that supports student engagement and development.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging ICT lessons tailored to students' needs and abilities.
• Design and implement assessments to track student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
• Support and collaborate with colleagues in integrating technology into various learning areas.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and training sessions to promote professional growth.

Reports To: Vice Principal
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Education, or a related field (a teaching qualification is an added advantage).
• Previous teaching experience in ICT within a Cambridge or international school setting is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using modern educational tools and platforms to facilitate learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
