Position: IHK Facilities Foreman
Job Description
Responsible for supervising maintenance, repairs & projects. Must be a master of many different skill sets & scenarios. He or she must be able to plan ahead and yet respond on their feet. Formal training pared with experience in the industry plus ability to direct, supervise & troubleshoot common issues that arise on the job.
Additionally, he serves as a go between workers/technical maintenance team & managers as well as the main point of contact for site operation.

  Major Roles & Responsibilities
• Responsible for monitoring the progress of a project & keeping it on track from time & budgetary standpoint
• Ensuring that the technical team are qualified & knowledgeable about their roles and making assignments according to skillset
• Responsible for generating & issuing reports as well as progress updates & decisions related to suppliers & vendor relationships
• Ensuring a safe working condition & compliance with safe operating procedure specific to the industry
• Responsible daily & routine facilities checks to ensure functionality
• Planning, budgeting & scheduling repair needs or projects
• Ensuring that the tools/spare room is well organized and inventory is up-to-date
• Responsible for hiring & discharging workers, consolidating time reports for payroll, and giving workers promotions or raise
• Responsible for determining work priorities based on work initiatives & specific needs communicated by management
• Work alongside the technical team hence must be knowledgeable of all jobs & tasks on site plus able to fill in when needed.

Qualifications:
• Diploma in Facility management.
• With experience of 2 years in a related field.
• Knowledge on Microsoft office ( word, Excel & PowerPoint).
