Prime Safaris & Tours Ltd. is an indigenous Uganda safari company operating in East Africa and Africa adventure; vacation safaris; mountain climbing; agriculture; African cultural; wildlife safaris, bird watching safaris; volunteer tourism and many more.

About the role:
The employee shall perform such other duties as are customarily performed by one holding such position in other, same, or similar businesses or enterprises as that engaged in by the employer and shall also additionally render such other and unrelated services and duties as may be assigned to him/her by the employer.

To their best, the Company shall assist the employee with some training required to make him/her able to perform the above stipulated tasks with excellence.
This doesn’t stop employee to pursue training at their own to ensure excellence at work.

Responsibilities:
• Upload information /content on all company websites and keeping them up to date.
• Develop new websites for the company if found necessary
• Manage all social media handles for the company including the websites blog pages.
• Ensure accounts of the websites and their emails are active and secure them from piracy and hacking.
• Carry on websites optimization for all company websites
• Carry our maintenance of company computer and other related equipment.
• Assist in making company graphic design works.
• Determine day to day online platforms that will boost excellent Company online presence/performance.
• Attend needed/important physical/online IT related workshops on behalf of the company to explore new trends in the industry.
• Avail monthly online performance reports i.e. showing the performance of all company websites.
• Improving on company brand online.
• Automate manual process as stipulated by the management
• Ensure that, the company acquires new modern technologies needed for the daily running of the business as the emerge.
• Manage company networks (networking).
• Ensure you coordinate with IT related service providers when need be.

Candidate requirements:
• University Degree/ Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline
• Sound knowledge of networking, website designing, Microsoft Office applications including MS Excel, Power point and internet is mandatory.
• Proven excellent technical oral, written, and editing abilities; ability to present and write influentially for multiple audiences
• Ability to work well with others in team environments, build consensus and drive change
• Should be able to work in a deadline driven/results orientated atmosphere
• Strong people management skills
• Able to think strategically and a good planner
• Able to manage and motivate teams to achieve targets and to achieve organisational change.
• Posses’ leadership personality, and able to take on and solve problems quickly and efficiently
• Ability to stay on track and deliver even under pressure.
• Willingness to work beyond the stipulated business working when necessary
• Well-groomed, admirable character and conduct and highly motivated individual.

Experience requirements
2 years’ experience in:-
A. Web development using Self-hosted Word Press to achieve Worpress sites (without using a page buikder)
B. Web developmwnt using PHP MVC frame work to achieve PHP Frame work sites

C. Using other programing languages like Java script etc
• Using local servers to develope sites and uploading them on live servers
• Pushing site codes on public respository on Github accounts
• SEO managements for all types of sites
• All Social Media management to promote websites and hands on experience in other content promotion methods
