JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary
The social media and IT specialist will be responsible for the overall operation of the physical network, implementing all technology and computing applications for the company while managing the team of IT employees, overseeing the new technology upgrades and Social Media Marketing.

Specific Roles and Responsibilities
Information Systems

• Ensuring that the hardware and software used by the company is compatible, secure, and scalable.
• Responsible for managing our internal network and providing support for all staff at the different branches.
• Overall accountability for the day-to-day operation and update of the complete IT infrastructure (network, server and storage) system uptime.
• Manage, develop and train the IT team. Propose relevant training in line with the company’s objectives.
• Running regular checks on security, network as well as disaster recovery/backup systems on all company computers.
• Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems timely.
• Developing and ensuring IT policies, data security policies and best practice guides for the organization are up to date and enforced.
• Creating and maintaining all documentation, standard operating procedures (Sops).
• Preparing, managing and reporting on the allocation of the IT annual budget and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct regular IT system audits and reviews with internal as well as external auditors.
• Preparing and sharing regular IT operation reports with management.
• Overseeing the implementation of major IT projects, system updates upgrades, migrations, performance tuning, website etc.
• Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions on time. Lead any troubleshooting
• Maintain IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software and hardware.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, hardware and software and advise management accordingly.
• Review, track and maintain hardware and software inventory at all branches of the company.
• Update and maintain an asset register for all IT equipment in the IT department.
• Drive the adoption of automation and end-to-end solutions with the team, with a focus on continuous improvements.
• Prepare monthly reports on the state of the company’s IT infrastructure

Social Media Management
• Develop social media content plans that are consistent with the company’s brand identity.
• Creating consistent informative content for all social media platforms including writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns.
• Use of different social media analytics such as google analytics, Hootsuite Pro and Facebook Insights to monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence and performance.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product Development teams
• Monitor user engagement, suggest content optimization, and create a strong network
• Conversion of potential clients into actual clients through social media platforms.
• Prepare monthly reports on social media performance across various channels.
• Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies

Key Performance Indicators
• IT support employees per end users.
• Mean time between failures (MTBF)
• Mean time to repair / recovery (MTTR)
• Recovery point objective (RPO)
• Social Media engagement and trucked into a number of new followers @5,000 on all media platforms per month.
• 10,000 Social media daily reach or per post for all units.
• 5,000 post-re-shares across social media platforms daily.
• 100 business leads per week from social media platforms.

Education and Job Requirements
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT from a recognized University.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position in a busy organization preferably in the medical industry.
• Strong background in implementing and managing physical networks
• Ability to manage a team and train others
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Strong Data-driven thinking and an affinity for numbers.
• Honest and Trustworthy.
