Manufactures of plastics, Shoes, Gumboots (EVA , PVC ), Been operating in Uganda since 2009.
We import high volume of EVA ,LDPE, PVC, DOP ... and others chemicals for our manufactures. 2 IT specialists
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented IT specialists to work in the Control Room to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and managing various systems and processes from a central control room. This role requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to multitask, and a strong understanding of the systems being monitored..

Responsibilities:
• Monitor and maintain the LAN, Network Servers, Routers, Printers, LAN Points, Switches, Patch panels, Access points, HF and VHF bases, HF and VHF relay stations, Satellite Modem to prevent faults occurring.
• Carry out missions for new installations and routine maintenance tours of ICT equipment.
• Ensure that ICT problem recovery is done as quickly as possible and make regular system back-ups.
• Assist with the installation of the software packages, basic repair/maintenance of computer hardware.
• Add and remove users from the Networks.
• Maintain the inventory of ICT equipment and keep track of movements of ICT equipment.
• Ensure all control room activities are documented and reported.
• Monitor environmental conditions and adjust systems as needed.
• Assist in the development of contingency plans for system failures.
• Ensure all control room equipment is functioning correctly.
• Provide technical support to other departments as needed.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies.

Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree in Information Technology is preferred.
• Previous experience in a control room or similar environment.
• Strong understanding of the systems being monitored.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple systems simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using control room software and equipment.
• Knowledge of safety and operational procedures.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate records.skills.
• Ability to plan for and keep track of multiple projects and deadlines.
