Program Department Summary:
Mercy Corps implements high quality- analytical work in tough environments and has been operating in Uganda since 2006 and currently manages a range of programs in Acholi, West Nile and Karamoja sub-regions with funding from a host of donors. In October 2017, Mercy Corps was awarded a 6-year USAID/BHA-funded program working in five districts in Karamoja (Amudat, Moroto, Kotido, Karenga and Kaabong), the Apolou Activity. The Activity goal "improved food and nutrition security" has four purposes with cross cutting themes of gender, youth, and resilience:
In order to strengthen engagement with key stakeholders for sustainable food security and Nutrition outcomes in Karamoja, Mercy Corps is seeking consultancy services from qualified individuals to conduct mapping across the nine (9) district of Karamoja region; facilitate four (4) consultative meetings with different levels of stakeholders and lead generation of key action points advocacy messages and development of strategic methodologies/approaches for internal and external communication.
